Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SideTalk (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Use of the App

SideTalk provides curated phrases and audio in multiple languages for entertainment and educational purposes. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or make the app or its content available to third parties.
  • Use the app for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

Subscriptions

SideTalk offers optional paid subscriptions (“SideTalk Pro”) that unlock additional content. Subscriptions are managed and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through RevenueCat. By subscribing, you agree to the payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

Content Disclaimer

The phrases, translations, and audio content provided by SideTalk are intended for entertainment and educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, reliability, or cultural appropriateness of any content. Use phrases at your own discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content in SideTalk — including but not limited to text, translations, audio recordings, graphics, and design — is owned by SideTalk or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SideTalk and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
