Introduction
SideTalk (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
SideTalk collects minimal data. Specifically:
- Subscription data: If you subscribe to SideTalk Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple or Google through RevenueCat. We receive anonymised subscription status information (e.g., whether your subscription is active) but do not have access to your payment details.
- No user accounts: SideTalk does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name or email address.
- No tracking or analytics: We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks within the app.
Audio Content Delivery
Phrase audio files are delivered via Cloudflare R2, a content delivery network. These requests are standard HTTPS fetches and do not transmit any user-identifiable data. No personal information is stored on or collected by the CDN.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only third-party service that receives any data is RevenueCat, solely for the purpose of managing subscription status.
Data Storage & Security
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no user data stored on our servers. Subscription information is managed entirely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
SideTalk is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
