Pronunciation guide: Konya wa tottemo suteki da ne.
Equivalent in your language: You look stunning tonight.
What it means: A warm, direct compliment on how someone looks.
When to use it: When you meet for a date and want to give a sincere compliment

笑顔がほんとにいいね。つられちゃう。
Pronunciation guide: Egao ga hontō ni ii ne. Tsurarechau.
Equivalent in your language: Your smile is contagious.
What it means: Tells someone their smile makes you want to smile too.
When to use it: When a shared smile or laugh makes a friendly chat feel lighter and you want to name it.

What it means: A direct, gentle compliment on someone's fragrance - you noticed how they smell and wanted to say something kind about it
When to use it: When you're close enough that their scent genuinely registers and a warm word feels natural

Pronunciation guide: Sono waraigoe, zurui kurai miryokuteki da ne.
Equivalent in your language: Your laugh is ridiculously attractive.
What it means: Calls out their laugh — something they can't control — as wildly attractive, so the pull is about what they just did, not how they look.
When to use it: Use right after they laugh at something — the timing makes it feel like a real-time observation, not a line.
